Behind the edition

The details
make it theirs.

Kavya and Arjun imagine opening their first home in Coonoor to the people who have helped them build a life together. Their doorway, garden and three meaningful household objects become a small portrait of the family.

An architectural paper sculpture in cedar green and warm ochre, with nested beveled doorway layers and delicate diamond-cut detail. The artwork starts with the host’s own home and selected objects.

  • An illustration based on the host’s own doorway
  • Garden plants selected by the family
